Hi, I'm Sheri Lee Sadowick
- B.A., RTCc #4116, CT #3051
- I'm a trauma-informed counsellor and coach passionate about helping people, like you, navigate tougher moments with more ease and confidence. Whether you're trying to navigate parenthood, relationships, healing from past trauma, or just ready to rediscover your spark, I'm here to listen and guide you forward.
- It's about creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported...exactly as you are.
A bit about me...
- I'm a proud mom of two young men and a devoted dog mom to Lola. Living in the beautiful West Kootenays, I love being surrounded by the forest and mountains....it inspires how I show up in my work. Locally, I serve on the Board of Directors for Diverse Family Roots Society, where we build stronger connections for families and communities. I also work as a 'Stopping The Violence' Women's Counsellor and Safe Home Coordinator for a small local community.
- Like many of you, I've walked through my own challenges with parenting, relationships, healing and growth. That lived experience helps me connect on a deeper level...with real empathy and no judgement.
My Style...
- Warm, practical, and tailored to you. I blend tools like Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices for releasing stored trauma, and life coaching insights to create a safe space for real change. Together, we'll focus on what works for you and your life, building resilience, finding clarity, and taking steps that feel right for you. No rush, just steady support rooted in compassion and respect.
- What I love most is walking alongside people as they reclaim their strength. With over 20 years supporting families and individuals, plus my own journey through healing and parenting, I get it...the ups, the setbacks, the wins.
- Many clients love how this solution-focused foundation allows for real momentum: after listening deeply, I'll share straightforward reflections and optional tasks to try between sessions, helping turn insights into everyday change. We always check in to ensure it feels supportive, especially in trauma work where your pace and choices guide everything.
