B.A., CCPCPR.Candidate, CT
Hi, my name is Sheri Sadowick.
I'm a Registrant Candidate with the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in British Columbia (# 3236) and a Counselling Therapist with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (#3051). This means that I am actively working towards the required hours to become officially registered in both provinces.
As a trauma-informed Parent Support Counsellor, Trauma Recovery Counsellor, Growth Coach, and Adventure Travel Coach, I work with caregivers, women, and individuals navigating parenting challenges, trauma recovery, personal growth, and significant life transitions.
My counselling approach is integrative and grounded in compassion. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Trauma Release, and Adlerian principles, combined with tools from my training as a Certified Life Coach. This allows me to meet you where you are—with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for your unique journey.
Whether you're rebuilding after trauma, seeking clarity in your parenting, rediscovering who you are, or ready to take bold steps forward in life, I’m here to support you with a holistic approach that honours both your inner world and your outward goals.
I am also a mom of two amazing young men, a dog mom to Lola, and locally, I sit on the Board of Director for Diverse Family Roots Society where we promote family and community connections.
